It sure was nice to wake up to a few inches of snow Thursday morning, should be a good weekend on the sleds.

The trails are in great shape, everything on the West Baptiste Trail System has been recently groomed.  The short cut on the Bilsky loop by Francis Lake is open.

Tentatively, we are planning to groom the Jackfish Lake Trail System next week.

Our next club meeting is on Wednesday, February 12th at 7:30pm at our clubhouse.  Come on out and help us get organized for the upcoming rally.

We are looking for volunteers to fill the wood sheds at the Grassy Lake and September Lake warm-up stops.  There are a few trees down in our yard at Baptiste that can be bucked up, split here and hauled out on sleighs.  Or there might be a few trees down by the wood sheds that can be bucked up and split out there by hand.  Let me know if you want access to the wood splitter.

Our annual rally is on February 22.  Shaping up to be a great day!  If you can help out with promoting the rally, collecting door prizes, or volunteering, please let me know.

Thanks to all the ladies who came out for the ladies’ ride on January 25th.  With 43 riders in attendance, fabulous weather and awesome groomed trails – it was a great day!  Please pass on a thank you to the door prize sponsors listed below if you see them.

Happy Sledding,
